MOUNT KENYA PACKAGE-8 ITINERARY
Day 1
09:00 AM pick up from your hotel and transfer to Sirimon gate 2600M above sea level. Meet your guide and potters enroute. Picnic lunch served at the park gate before you begin the acclimatization hike through the moorland to old Moses camp (3300M above sea level) for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Breakfast served at Old Moses camp. After breakfast, gradually hike to Shipton‟s camp 4200M above sea level for dinner and overnight. Enjoy t a superb view of the peaks walking through Mackinder‟s valley.
Day 3
Breakfast served at the camp. Make an anticlockwise summit circuit of the peaks via Kami hut at Hausburg col to Mackinder‟s camp 4200M. Lunch will be served en route for Dinner and overnight at Mackinder‟s camp
Day 4
Predawn attempt of Point Lenana (4985 M above sea level) and descend to Mintos /Hall tarn area 4300M for Dinner and Overnight (in tents).
Day 5
Breakfast served at camp. Descend to Chogoria park gate (3000M above sea level) for dinner and overnight in Meru Mt Kenya Bandas.
Day 6
Descend via the forest to connect with your vehicle back to Nairobi. Lunch provided enroute.
